Dear Mrs. Ramara Garrett:

I was just sitting here surfing the web when I came across this Waverly Property Group informational site. I wanted to take the time to thank you for providing such informative articles about the Daytona Beach area and the real estate industry as a whole. Frankly, I have grown quite tired of reading the typical negative articles, which do nothing but complain about the state of the housing market. How refreshing it is to hear some positive! I was also glad to see you give a "shout out" to the Peabody Auditorium. I am an avid Peabody supporter. Most residents of Daytona Beach are not aware of the Peabody's rich history and all that it has endured. It has recently received some renovations and it is a great location for plays and concerts. Thank you again and please keep it up.

Mr Diaz, you have been doing some research! This is actually something that most locals are not familiar with at this point. The Ocean Center will certainly be an important addition to the Daytona area. I know at Waverly Property Group we have already started to see an increase in reservations for vacation rental homes for conventions there. What most people don't know is that this is just the beginning for the area. While I do not think that formal plans have been settled yet, there are many things in the works. Many residents had complaints about the development, and I think the City of Daytona Beach is planning to purchase surrounding homes to establish an "E Zone" for entertainment. I understand that this includes the Main Street area from Atlantic to Peninsula, and from Main to Earl Street. Since Main Street is already an entertainment area, the plans are to make it more family and conventioner friendly. The Peabody Auditorium is also part of the area, and is now home to Broadway events and many concerts. Check it out at www.peabodyauditorium.org. Given the current issues the area is facing, I think in the future it will be a great addition to Daytona Beach. I currently have a listing on Main Street, so it will be a great investment for future value! The property is a corner unit and offers retail space on the ground floor plus a residential apartment above. Given future plans, this could be a great restuarant, bar, retail space etc. Let me know if you would like to see it! Keep your eyes open for announcements from the City of Daytona Beach about plans for this area. And if you would like to speak more about potential investments here, please call me at Waverly Property Group.

Hello Ramara Garrett and/or Waverly Property Group:

I am a Ponce Inlet based real estate investor and have been looking at investing over in the Main Street area of Daytona Beach. I normally invest in strictly rental homes but, have been considering some commercial real estate. I feel that the counties investment in the Ocean Center is certainly a positive for that area. My concern is the surrounding area as it appears to be run down. I am writing you as I noticed that you have a listing on Main Street and may be able to share some insight. Any information would be a great help.
